What is the UK Global Talent Visa?
The Global Talent visa is a UK immigration category for talented and promising individuals in specific sectors wishing to work in the UK. It replaced the Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) visa in February 2020.
Education and work experience (5 years+) in the stream of Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Arts;
An endorsement letter from designated review bodies of the UK. For instance, digital technologists need to get an endorsement letter from the "Tech Nation".
Three recommendation letters from the applicant’s seniors (preferably on the company's letterhead);
Reference letters from the applicant’s present and senior employers.
Applying for a UK Global talent visa
Step 1: Begin by understanding the eligibility criteria for this visa.
Step 2: If you meet all the requirements, then you need to apply for endorsement from the UK designated endorsement bodies. The endorsement bodies depend on your occupation
Step 3: After receiving the endorsement letter, you need to apply for the visa to the UK Home office. You can either apply for it online or through the UK VAC offices in India and abroad.
